From Afar…

Hello, My Dear.

Yes, your package arrived this morning. I held-off all but showing-around photos until Katie and Annie get back home.

All was well and good–I noticed that you’re still using your GMail account, BTW–until I spied the wind chimes hanging above your desk lamp. Well…you know me.

You were the first, but each one of you changed my life when you entered into it. You cannot yet comprehend what I mean but, someday, you will understand.

I do miss you, you know. We all do. However, we are–all of us–cheering you onward.

There will be those days, my dear. We all have them. They are the icky dross that must occur to obtain the final product of our time spent here. When yours come-around to greet you; look into the mirror, and know that you are loved.

I love you, and I am very proud of you. Never forget that.
