The cipherfunk web site, which made extra packages available to Ubuntu and MEPIS users, was shut down in response to complaints from Ubuntu team members Matthew Garrett and Philipp Kern. It is my understanding they alleged that cipherfunk was not making modified GPLed source code available in a timely fashion.

The reply falls into the category of background static, with respect to the thread of conversation.
Now, I have my own advocacy practices which, I believe, work well; and, considering the fact that I have absolutely no interest in the mortgage industry, I really have nothing substantive to add to the thread itself, except dealing with the following “flyer” posting. Life has been so busy this summer as to make productions, like the one linked-to above, a bit impractical to accomplish; but the times are changing (as they always seem to do), so you should see more of the same in the future.
It is 01:15 on Sunday morning and, my eldest/our second-eldest daughter is, at this very moment, on a Delta Airlines flight to Atlanta, Georgia; this being the first-leg of her journey to University, in Florida. In a scant 45 minutes or so, she will telephone me after she lands in Atlanta, to let me know how things are going, and to try to sense in me that I miss her more than I have allowed her realize.
